After​ ​attending​ ​Roberto-Venn​ ​School​ ​of​ ​Luthiery​ ​in​ ​2016​ ​and​ ​completing​ ​880​ ​hours,​ ​I
returned​ ​to​ ​Indiana​ ​with​ ​an​ ​even​ ​stronger​ ​passion​ ​for​ ​music​ ​and​ ​guitars.​ ​My​ ​fellow
students​ ​and​ ​I​ ​were​ ​taught​ ​how​ ​to​ ​use​ ​important​ ​tools​ ​for​ ​designing​ ​and​ ​repairing
guitars,​ ​species​ ​and​ ​cuts​ ​of​ ​wood​ ​for​ ​the​ ​different​ ​pa

rts​ ​of​ ​guitars,​ ​and​ ​made​ ​an​ ​acoustic
and​ ​electric​ ​guitar​ ​from​ ​scratch. Today,​ ​I​ ​look​ ​to​ ​master​ ​my​ ​trade​ ​and​ ​build​ ​my​ ​own​ ​business​ ​with​ ​something​ ​I​ ​love. Once​ ​I​ ​returned​ ​I​ ​also​ ​apprenticed​ ​with​ ​Kevin​ ​Heffernan,​ ​a​ ​renowned​ ​luthier​ ​in
Noblesville,​ ​IN.​ ​He​ ​has​ ​helped​ ​me​ ​accomplish​ ​much​ ​in​ ​my​ ​goal​ ​to​ ​be​ ​a​ ​great​ ​luthier. Kevin​ ​is​ ​an​ ​amazing​ ​teacher​ ​and​ ​taught​ ​me​ ​repair​ ​techniques​ ​that​ ​have​ ​taken​ ​me​ ​far. As​ ​of​ ​right​ ​now​ ​I​ ​can​ ​wind​ ​custom​ ​pick-ups,​ ​paint​ ​guitars​ ​(particularly​ ​patina​ ​and
ceruse​ ​finishes),​ ​custom-modify​ ​wiring,​ ​reglue​ ​bridges,​ ​make​ ​bone​ ​nut​ ​and​ ​saddles​ ​and
