We are pleased to welcome attorney Stacia Tyson! Stacia earned dual J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and Indiana University Kelley School of Business, respectively. She brings valuable hands-on legal experience, including from the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before law school, Stacia also worked as a paralegal with Legal Aid of North Carolina, where she developed a passion for advocating for underserved communities.

As the federal lawsuit filed on behalf former Central Indiana Teen Challenge/Refuge Girls Academy residents continues to move forward, our clients are relieved and grateful to know that the facility where they and other young girls suffered will no longer be operating.

Refuge Girls Academy, a faith-based addiction treatment program in Lebanon, Indiana, has closed its doors following a federal lawsuit filed by dozens of former residents alleging decades of systemic physical and psychological abuse.
