If you get a group of 10 to 15 together we can do a lesson at $40 per person where each person walks away with a wonderful paperweight, heart, pumpkin, snowman or a few flowers. All private lesson will be scheduled through me, but pre-paid at the front desk at GRT Glass Design or you can buy a gift certificate for a wonderful present that will not be forgotten. Experience glass Fusing

$60 for each firing in my kiln-(includes all the glass and materials you will need)

Learn to fuse glass in my studio at the Harrison Center for the Arts at 16th and Delaware. Anyone above the age of 8 is welcome to learn how easy it is to fuse pieces of glass together. It is very safe and a wonderful experience for everyone to learn about the different properties of this wonderful medium. We will walk you through the process for about 20 minutes then you can take all the time you want in creating small fused glass pendents, drawer pulls, magnets, or anything else you would like to create out of glass. After the pieces of glass are laid out like you want we will fire the oven to about 1450 degrees then we will anneal the pieces until they are cooled off. Students will get their pieces back 2 days after they are finished. You are welcome to create anything you envision from superheros, silly faces, animals or self portraits to cartoon monsters or fruit and veggies. Fun easy and a great way to teach the properties of this medium to any age. Set up a class with 10 to 15 friends, family or co-workers and everyone will make an item for $40 per person in a 2 to 3 hour session. I'm an ambitious, highly optimistic, talented freelance glass artist who lives to create and instruct people in how to make some wonderfully attractive glass. I'm inspired by the uniqueness of individual projects if you have ideas I will help you create whatever you invision. I have a genuine talent for teaching all the different ages and types of people. There are so many different techniques to try out in glass blowing. I have had about 7 years experience teaching this medium and I would love to help you in the creation of some wonderful possessions out of this liquid medium.

Hello, friends. My business is The American Glassworking Experience. I am an entertainer/artist looking for events to keep me creating glasswork.

Demos
Offering Glassblowing Demonstrations in the Indianapolis area and beyond. My Moble Glassblowing Hot Shop can come to your location for any event, festival or party. My goal is to entertain, educate and inspire others to create. My main experience demonstrating has been at county fairs, now i am ready to find other events to perform at.

Offering:
For $1,000 I will bring my mobile glassblowing trailer to create glasswork for a 6 hour set. I can create 30 to 60 items in that time depending on what i am making. The host gets to pick 5 pieces to keep or auction off to help offset the cost.

Creating
The blown work i create during my performance can include: a pumpkin, human heart, ghost, conch shell, vase, bowl, potato head guy, fish, a knight, a pig, a duck, drinking glasses, ornaments and lots more. Solid glass work will be created as well, like: dinosaur, shell, heart, skull, flower, rose, solid sculpture, pumpkin, snowman, pirates b***y, Trumps b***y, a lions head, an American flag, stamped coins and wax stamps.

Setup is outside, i can work rain or shine. 1 outlet is all i need from the host, everything else will be provided. Set up is usually the day before and tear down the day after. There will be a table set up for sales
during the event.

Travel
I can bring my rig on the road outside of the Indy area, but a hotel, gas and 15 gallons of propane a day will be factored in.

Temporary housing for me: I will trade an event for a place to sleep at night and a shower for a couple weeks if someone has some empty space while I search for a new home. I pack light.

Thanks for supporting your local glassblower, help be a part of keeping me from going back to work. Thanks, matt
