Vinified using a low intervention approach, the result is an unmistakable wine that reflects the healthy, nutrient rich vineyard from which it comes. Our Biodynamic, nature-focused approach contributes to the many dimensions of richness and complexity in our wines.

It’s about to start.

The w**ery is ready, the vineyard is getting close, and before the first fruit of 2026 comes through the doors, we’re taking a moment to check in on the 2025s quietly making their way in barrel.

One harvest on its way toward becoming w**e, another just about to begin.

Soon, the w**ery will be full again.

Come taste through them with us, spend the afternoon in the vineyard, and celebrate the beginning of another harvest season at Cowhorn.

Harvest is getting so close. We’re looking at only about two weeks until our first pick, and things are starting to move quickly in the vineyard.

While we wait, we’ve been planning. We’re opening the doors a little wider with harvest experiences in the vineyard, evenings around the table, and overnight stays at The Overlook for those who want to settle in and really experience Cowhorn during our favorite time of the year.

Our full fall calendar is coming soon. Subscribe on our website homepage for first word on harvest events, stays, and our fall w**e release or DM us your email and we’ll add you to the list.

The Fall Release has arrived.

Five new releases from the vineyard, shaped by the season, the work in the vines, and the hands that carried them from harvest to bottle.

2024 Marsanne Roussanne
2024 Orange
2024 Pinot Noir
2023 Estate Syrah
2022 Sentience

They’re available online now, and we’d love to share them with you here at the vineyard, too.

Join us September 5 for our Fall Release Party | new w**es in the glass, pizza from the oven, live music, and an afternoon together among the vines.

Jesus and Vince are out in the vineyard every day now, walking the rows, checking the fruit, tasting as they go, and seeing where things are headed.

This time of year, things can change quickly. Every day gives us a little more information and a better sense of when each block will be ready. For now, we’re watching, tasting, and getting closer.

And if you know Cowhorn, you know Jesus. He’s been part of Cowhorn for over 10 years, and there are few people who know the vineyard as intimately as he does. He’s always teaching us something, sharing what he’s learned from decades spent farming this land. And at the same time, we’re always evolving, learning together, and bringing new ideas and ways of doing things back to him.

Harvest begins long before the first clusters come through the door. Barrels washed, press cleaned, bins stacked, hoses run and every corner of the cellar made ready. Soon enough, everything will be in motion. For now, we’re getting the w**ery ready for the 2026 vintage.

And we missed you Cary Irving. Welcome back to the West Coast, it missed you as much as we did 🍇

The evenings are beginning to stretch toward fall, and we’re filling a few of them with music.

Join us at the tasting room for live music throughout the season—bottles open, pizza from the oven, and the vineyard just beyond it all.

Tomorrow, we start with After Hours with Ombe 5:30–8:30pm. Come find a spot and stay awhile.

Tucked just around the bend from Block 1 Syrah, the tasting room sits quietly at the edge of the vineyard. A good place to begin, with a glass in hand and nowhere in particular to be.

Follow the gravel a little farther and you’ll come to Block 2, our Viognier and the first fruit we bring into the w**ery each harvest. We’re only a few weeks away now. The clusters are changing, the mornings feel different, and harvest is beginning to make itself known.

Come for a glass. Stay for a walk through the vines.

After Hours is coming back.

Saturday, August 22, Ombe returns to Cowhorn for an evening in the vineyard. Live music as the sun goes down, wood-fired pizzas, bottles of w**e, and nowhere you need to be until the light is gone.

Come for a glass or stay for the evening. We’ve put together a few ways to settle in, with w**e, pizza, and charcuterie for two or for the whole crew.

August 22 • 5:30–8:30 PM

Visit our website to explore the After Hours packages and reserve yours ahead of time. Walk-ins are always welcome, too.

A weekend at Cowhorn, just as summer begins to lean toward harvest.

Come wander the vineyard, taste what’s open, and settle in with a pizza and a bottle at the tasting room. And if you’re here Saturday, stay awhile—we’ll carry the day into evening with a Cowhorn Cookout, Chef Derek Piva of Tu Tu' Tun Lodge at the grill, and w**e poured as the light starts to leave the vines.

No need to make much of a plan. Just come out and spend some time with us.
