Ted Kihm shared his observations and takeaways from the recent Capital Raise Bootcamp hosted by Tech Venture Studio and Digital Health KC. If you haven't read his in-depth recap, then you'll want to set aside a few minutes to do so.
"Investors still want to back ambitious companies. But the bar is less about charisma than readiness: evidence of customer pull, a credible understanding of stage fit, realistic valuation expectations, clean legal and governance structure and founders who can communicate with precision when the stakes rise. In the blog post, we included a few photos of the presenters from the event - Kyle McAllister of Trially AI, Liam Reilly of BlackOak Partners, Laura Venn and Christopher Simpson of Polsinelli, Dan Kerr of Flyover Capital, and Aaliyah Aramjoo and Edward Frindt of KCRise Fund.
