MOSourceLink and regional resource partners met to strengthen ties and foster growth in the entrepreneur ecosystem at a recent convening in Columbia, Missouri.

“Participants began with a big-picture exploration of entrepreneurship-led economic development, grounding the conversation in how entrepreneurship drives local and regional economic vitality across Missouri’s diverse communities,” said MOSourceLink Senior Director Becca Castro.

Missouri Technology Corporation Grants Program Manager Sheila Baker and Becca Castro also conducted a fireside chat about grant proposal review, what funders seek, and common gaps in applications.

Deana Imhoff of Imhoff Family Farms leads "Building Profitable Value-Added Enterprises in Agriculture," a free virtual workshop on February 11th. Imhoff will share lessons, stories and practical tools to help you launch or scale a value-added product or service and overcome obstacles.

The workshops are part of the Show Me Jobs project, a partnership between MOSourceLink and Green Hills Regional Planning Commission (RPC), supported by funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Innovation Stronger Economy (RISE) Grant.
