Twin Cities in late April… and somehow we’re golfing in hail and snow 😂 only you, .

Grateful for this trip. Time with crew, jumping on Dedicated podcast, and the kind of conversations that actually matter. Not surface level. The kind that challenge how you think, how you lead, and how you show up when no one’s watching. I can’t wait for this one to drop… if it hits you the way it hit me, people are going to start making real moves in their lives.

More than anything, I respect the way you live, Shawn. As a man of God. As a leader. As someone who’s walking in obedience, not just talking about it. The people around you reflect that. That says everything.

Appreciate the time with the whole crew… (keep going, man), and getting out there with corysvihla. And being around the Uncommon Award energy tied to guys like , , , KOC, and one of the best to do it in Minnesota … that standard of leadership and service is real. And it doesn’t stop here. Year 4 coming up… heading back to the Dominican together soon. Serving in the villages, staying grounded in what actually matters. That’s the work.

Trips like this remind me… it’s not about noise. It’s about alignment. Faith, people, purpose.

Some of the most important experiences in my life have come through serving others.

This will be my 4th year working with in the Dominican Republic, and every time we go back it reminds me of something simple but powerful.

You go thinking you’re there to help.

But somehow you leave realizing how much you were the one changed.

This documentary captures the heart of the incredible leaders and communities we get to serve alongside in the DR. Their faith, resilience, and joy are deeply humbling to witness.

I’m grateful for leaders like Tim Krauss and so many others who live this out daily. As Tim says:

“Jesus is the endgame.”

That truth becomes very real when you’re there.

If life ever starts to feel a little empty, a little too focused on yourself, or like success alone isn’t filling the deeper places in your heart… sometimes the reset is simple.

Go serve someone.

We’ll be heading back again at the end of July, and I’m thankful for everyone who has been part of this journey with GO Ministries and Freedom Hoops.

It’s my birthday 🎉 — and I don’t want gifts.

Last year I got involved with Freedom Hoops here in Kansas City. Every Thursday night from 6–8:30pm we’re in the gym with these kids — basketball for an hour, then Bible study and mentorship. The game is powerful… but the real impact happens off the court. That’s where generational change begins.

On March 26 we’re hosting our annual 3-on-3 Tournament at Hy-Vee Arena — and I’m competing as one of the All-Stars (and yes… I plan to win).
