Ben Quie & Sons specializes in remodeling projects and home additions that preserve the integrity and character of vintage homes. We are a kitchen remodeler, bathroom remodeler and general contractor with a passion for the architectural styles and craftsmanship of the late 19th and early 20th century. Say hello to Preston!

One of the newer faces on our team, Preston recently joined the team in the field. His love for woodworking started at a young age, creating intricate intarsia art before progressing to furniture building and custom woodworking. After graduating from South Central College's carpentry program, he spent five years remodeling and building homes, developing a particular appreciation for older homes along the way.

We're excited to have him on the team!

"We need more storage!"

This primary bathroom was generously sized but offered very little storageโ€”just a medicine cabinet. That's not uncommon in early 1900s homes like this one in the Summit Hill neighborhood.

By converting an old, dated shower into a custom linen closet, we added the storage the homeowners were missing without changing the bathroom's footprint. A simple change that made a big difference.
