Amy Stiner-Northwestern Mutual

Amy Stiner-Northwestern Mutual Amy Stiner, MBA, ChFC®, RICP®, is a NM Financial Advisor & Owner of Stiner Wealth Management. Every financial decision is part of a bigger story.

Our Philosophy:

Financial planning isn’t just about growing wealth—it’s about creating the life your wealth makes possible. Whether you’re building a career, growing a business, preparing for retirement, or planning the legacy you’ll leave behind, those decisions deserve a strategy as personal as the goals they support. My role is to help clients see the complete picture. Together, we build thoug

htful financial strategies that bring clarity, confidence, and purpose to every stage of life. The goal isn’t simply to accumulate, it’s to create a life that reflects your values and gives you the freedom to focus on what matters most. The most rewarding part of my work is seeing clients reach the milestones they’ve worked so hard to achieve—buying a practice, retiring on their own terms, creating opportunities for their children, or leaving a lasting legacy. Being a trusted partner through those moments is a responsibility I never take for granted. How We Work:

The best financial relationships are built on trust, not transactions. Our clients can expect honest conversations, thoughtful guidance, and a team that follows through. We believe accessibility, responsiveness, and listening before advising are essential. We also believe financial planning should feel approachable, not intimidating. We strive to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where clients can ask questions, share concerns, and make important decisions with confidence. We’re committed to continually improving our knowledge, strengthening relationships, and delivering an exceptional client experience. As a national practice, we proudly serve clients across the United States. Who We Serve:

While we work with individuals and families from many walks of life, we have particular expertise serving:
• Business owners
• Dentists
• Medical professionals, including physicians (MDs), physician assistants (PAs), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and anesthesiology assistants (AAs)
• Individuals planning to retire within the next 5–10 years

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: financial planning should provide more than a roadmap for your money. It should give you the confidence to live the life you’ve worked hard to build and the peace of mind that comes from planning your future with intention.

Giving back has always been one of the most meaningful parts of being part of a community. 💙

I was so grateful to help bring together members of the Children's Mercy Gift Planning Council Executive Committee and their families for a special service project supporting patients at Children’s Mercy.

Together, we assembled 75 Teen Happy Kits for adolescents spending time in the hospital. While each kit may seem like a small gesture, I hope they bring a little comfort, connection, and joy to kids and families during what can be an incredibly difficult time.
I’m especially thankful for everyone who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and made this day so meaningful. It was a wonderful reminder that when we come together, we can make a real difference.

Thank you to Children’s Mercy for the incredible work you do every day for children and families in our community.

Feeling very grateful to be part of something bigger than ourselves. 💙

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month—the perfect time to rally around the goal of ending childhood cancer. Every day, more than 1,000 children worldwide receive this devastating diagnosis. Through our partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, we’re helping fund critical research, advance new treatments, and support affected families. Together, we can rewrite the story for children with cancer.

September is , so let’s talk about something that often gets overlooked.

Life insurance isn’t just about what happens when you’re gone. At its heart, it’s about taking care of the people and things that matter most to you. Your financial plan should be designed to work through different seasons of life, and that means looking beyond what interest rates are doing today.

For some people, whole life insurance can be an important piece of that long-term strategy, offering benefits that short-term financial products simply can’t provide. The right solution is different for everyone. If you’re curious whether whole life insurance belongs in your financial plan, I'd be happy to discuss what makes the most sense for you.

Whole life insurance is built for the long term—here's why higher interest rates don't change its value in your financial plan.
