How do you turn network discovery data into accurate, automated topology maps?
That was the focus of ATS CTO Andy Wojnarek's presentation at Zabbix Summit 2026.

In his session, “Zabbix External Data Streaming: Network Topology,” Andy explored how we're extending Zabbix's data collection capabilities to support network topology discovery and visualization.

The technical challenges go well beyond identifying devices. They include collecting CDP/LLDP neighbor relationships, processing large volumes of discovery data, and making that information available to external systems without unnecessary database overhead.

This engineering work supports automated network topology capabilities in Galileo and reflects the technical collaboration between our ATS and Galileo teams.

That's a wrap on Zabbix Summit 2026!
Our team's first Summit brought us to Riga for several days of technical sessions, partner discussions, and time with the people behind the Zabbix platform.

Beyond the technical announcements, one of the most valuable parts of the experience was connecting directly with Zabbix leadership, engineers, and fellow partners.

As North America's longest-standing Zabbix Premium Partner, we value that access and the opportunity to exchange ideas, deepen our technical expertise, and strengthen the relationships that help us support our customers.

Thank you to the Zabbix team for the hospitality and a great Summit. We're heading home with new perspectives, stronger connections, and plenty to build on.

Yesterday, we shared what our team was watching at Zabbix Summit 2026. Today, we're seeing some of those developments take shape.

A few highlights from Riga:

✓ Zabbix 8.0 LTS: Native APM and OpenTelemetry support point toward broader observability capabilities built on open standards.

✓ Smarter event processing: Complex Event Processing (CEP) promises a significant advancement in how Zabbix can correlate and process monitoring events.

✓ Simpler Kubernetes monitoring: Improvements aimed at reducing the complexity of monitoring containerized infrastructure.

✓ Deeper technical visibility: eBPF monitoring through a Zabbix Agent 2 plugin opens up new possibilities for understanding application and system behavior.

There's also a broader message emerging from the Summit: Open-source monitoring is increasingly being evaluated for its enterprise capabilities, with cost savings adding to the business case.

That’s one of the questions our team is exploring today as the technical sessions get underway at Zabbix Summit 2026.

Zabbix 8.0 takes center stage this morning, followed by sessions spanning root-cause analysis, application performance monitoring, automation, integrations, Zabbix Cloud, and real-world monitoring use cases.

When was the last time you tested recovery of a critical application from backup?

A completed backup job tells you the data was captured. And recovery testing helps determine whether the application, its dependencies, and its data can actually be restored when needed.

How ready is your environment for cyber recovery?
