It’s always satisfying to see the finished product come together. 👀

Here’s a quick look at our engineer using a rotary welding positioner to go from an unwelded setup to a clean, finished weld.

Last week, TDI had the opportunity to meet with Kansas State University’s Dean of Engineering, Dr. Ashfaq Khokhar.

We enjoyed connecting with Dr. Khokhar and discussing the work we do at TDI, as well as the ways we can continue supporting engineering innovation and education at K-State.

We’re proud to be part of the K-State community and look forward to what’s ahead! 💜⚙️

At TDI, we’re always evaluating the latest materials and technologies to make sure we can provide our clients with the best options for their projects.

We recently tested Formlabs Flexible 80A Resin to see what it could do, and we were impressed! From flexible bellows to snap/pushbutton discs, this material can produce tough, functional parts with great detail.

We’re always testing, learning, and finding better ways to build. ⚙️

Ag Tech Spotlight 👁️🐕

Vet students need hands-on experience before working with live animals. That's where the Animal Eye-Globes, by Tallgrass Solutions, make a difference.

These realistic 3D training models allow students to practice direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy while learning the anatomy of animal eyes across multiple species, including canine, feline, equine, and lagomorph. Designed from real animal imagery, they're an innovative tool for building confidence and clinical skills in veterinary education.

Innovation like this is helping prepare the next generation of veterinary professionals, and TDI is here to make your idea turn into reality.

Out with the old, in with the new. 🔧

When Fort Riley needed a replacement part, TDI engineers and interns got to work. The team first developed a 3D-printed prototype to verify the design before refining it and machining the second part from aluminum using the HAAS UMC-500 5-axis mill.

From rapid prototyping to precision manufacturing, this project showcases how TDI helps turn ideas into functional solutions.
