Luxury is often in the pacing. And those little details?

They're what clients remember.

Here's something we don't talk about enough in treatment educationโ€ฆ

The moments BETWEEN the steps matter too. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ You can have an amazing protocol and beautiful products, but if you're rushing from one thing to the next like you're trying to beat a timerโ€ฆ your client FEELS that. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Especially with Head Spa.

Slow the transition down. Reset your hands. Adjust the towel. Make sure your client is comfortable.

THEN move into the next portion of the treatment. It sounds tiny.

But those tiny details are what make an experience feel intentional instead of transactional.

And honestly? Some of the best things you can add to a treatment don't cost you another dollar.

They require you to become more aware of how the client experiences what you're already doing.

That's the stuff I LOVE teaching. ๐Ÿค

If you want to actually SEE how I structure my Head Spa treatments from beginning to end, I have my complete Head Spa Demo Video Series available inside the Academy.

๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ Comment DEMO and I'll send you the details.

โ€œI don't care how viral it is.

I don't care how pretty the device is. And I definitely don't care that everyone on Instagram suddenly bought one. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Before I add something, I want to know:

What problem does it solve? Where does it fit with what we already offer? Can I build treatment plans around it? Will clients come back for it? And can we actually make money with it?

Because a new device isn't automatically a new revenue stream. Sometimesโ€ฆ it's just a new monthly payment.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

Beauty industry math:
New machine = new service = more money.
Exceptttttโ€ฆ not always. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've added a LOT of things over the years.

And I've learned that I don't want something in my business just because it's cool. I want to know exactly where it FITS.

Before I add something now, I'm thinking:
โœจ What problem does this solve for our clients?
โœจ Do we already have something that does basically the same thing?
โœจ Where would I use this in a treatment plan?
โœจ Is this something clients will repeat?
โœจ Can my team confidently recommend it?
โœจ And YESโ€ฆ can we actually make money with it?

Because buying the machine is usually the easiest part.

Turning it into something your team understands, your clients want + your business actually profits from? That's the part people don't talk about enough.

So if you're currently eyeing a shiny new device because Instagram has convinced you that you absolutely need itโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜‚

Before you buy it, ask yourself: Where does this fit in my BUSINESS โ€” not just my treatment room?

Save this one before your next device purchase. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

And if you're trying to figure out what treatments actually make sense for YOUR menu, DM me MENTOR and we can work through it together. ๐Ÿค

Can we talk about the Canva template graveyard for a second? ๐Ÿ˜‚

You find a cute template. Change the colors. Add your logo. Post it.

Then tomorrow you find a COMPLETELY different cute template and do the same thing.

And three months later your Instagram looks like 14 different businesses are sharing one account. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I've been there.

One of the biggest things I've learned with branding is that you actually need LESS.

A few fonts. A consistent style. Good photos. Lots of breathing room.

And the discipline to stop changing everything every time you see something cute on Pinterest. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

You don't need to become a graphic designer. You just need to know a few basic principles that make everything you create feel more polished + recognizable.

That's exactly what I teach inside my Canva Mastery for Beauty Professionals.

Because if you're going to spend all this time creating contentโ€ฆ we might as well make it CUTE. ๐ŸŽ€๐Ÿ˜‚

Learning the steps of a treatment is the easy part.

Cleanse. Prep. Device. Product. Finish.

You can memorize that. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

What takes TIME is learning how to look at the person in front of you and think:

What does THIS skin actually need?

That's one of the biggest things I want my students to understand when I'm teaching Jet Plasma.

We're not just checking boxes on a protocol. We're looking at the client's concerns. We're looking at their skin.

We're talking about their goals. We're thinking beyond today's appointment + starting to map out where we want to take their skin next.

Because two people can book the exact same treatment and need completely different journeys.

THAT is where your confidence as a practitioner starts to grow. ๐Ÿค

And honestly, that's my favorite part of teaching this stuff.

If you've been wanting to add Jet Plasma and actually understand the WHY behind what you're doing โ€” not just memorize a protocol โ€” comment JET and I'll send you my training options. โœจ

I think sometimes women feel like we're supposed to pick one.

Be grateful for what you haveโ€ฆ OR want something bigger.

But I don't think those two things have to compete. ๐Ÿค

I can look around at my life + business and think, โ€œWow. I'm really freaking proud of what we've built.โ€

And five minutes later be telling my husband about the next 17 ideas I have. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Both can be true.

You can love your business and want to grow it. You can be proud of how far you've come and know you're capable of more. You can be incredibly grateful for your life right now and still have dreams that make you thinkโ€ฆ

Okayyyy but what if we did THIS next? ๐Ÿ˜‚โœจ

I don't think growth has to come from feeling like what you have isn't enough. Sometimes it comes from realizing how much more you're capable of creating.

So this week's little Sunday reminder:

Be proud of where you are. And keep going toward where you want to be. ๐Ÿค

Tell me โ€” are you in a season of enjoying what you've built, building the next thingโ€ฆ or a little bit of BOTH? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

08/29/2026

If you dropped me into a treatment room tomorrow and told me: โ€œOkay Michelle, you're starting over.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

I would do one thing VERY differently. I wouldn't try to offer everything.

When you're new, it's soooo tempting.

Facials. Peels. Brows. Lashes. Head Spa. Plasma. Microneedling. Every new device Instagram convinces you that you absolutely NEED. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But if I were doing it again? I'd choose something I wanted to become really freaking good at.

I'd build an amazing experience around it. I'd get incredible results. I'd photograph those results. I'd talk about it constantly.

And I'd let people start associating ME with THAT service. Then I'd expand.

You don't need 27 services to build a successful beauty business. You need a reason for someone to say:

โ€œYou HAVE to go see her for ______.โ€

That's the goal. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

โœจ Save this if you're building your service menu right now.

And if you're sitting there thinking, โ€œOkayโ€ฆbut I don't know what MY thing should be,โ€ DM me MENTOR. That's exactly the kind of thing we can work through together during one of my mentoring sessions. ๐Ÿค

If your marketing strategy is basically: โ€œCrap, I need Head Spa appointments next weekโ€ฆ I better post something.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

We need to fix that. Because marketing works soooo much better when you're creating desire BEFORE you need the booking.

Your audience should regularly be seeing:
๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ what the experience looks like
๐Ÿซง why scalp health matters
โœจ what makes your Head Spa different
๐Ÿค client experiences + results
๐Ÿ’ฆ those ridiculously satisfying water shots we could all watch for 45 minutes ๐Ÿ˜‚

Then when you finally say, โ€œI have appointments available,โ€ you're not introducing the service.

They've already been watching it. They already want it.

You're simply giving them the opportunity to book.

And if coming up with all that content makes you want to throw your phone across the treatment room ๐Ÿ˜‚ โ€” that's exactly why I made my Head Spa Marketing Suite.

I've already done the hard part for you.

I used to think rebooking needed to feel super casual because I NEVER wanted a client to feel like I was selling to them. But here's what I've learned ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

There's a big difference between pressure and leadership. If I genuinely believe my client needs another treatment in four weeks to continue working toward the result she came to me forโ€ฆ

Why would I say:
โ€œLet me know if you want to come back!โ€ ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Nooooo. She came to me for a professional recommendation. So I'm going to give her one.

Try this instead:
โ€œTo keep these results progressing, I want to see you again in about four weeks. Let's get that scheduled before you leave today.โ€

Clear. Kind. Professional. And ZERO weird sales energy. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

These tiny language shifts can completely change the way you lead your clients, which is exactly why I teach the actual WORDS to use inside my
Signature Consult & Client Journey System.

๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ Comment SCRIPT and I'll send you the details.

And save this one for your next client day because I want you to actually USE it. ๐Ÿค

I think one of the biggest lies we tell ourselves in business is that everyone else has it figured out. ๐Ÿ˜‚

They don't. I definitely don't.

I've changed my mind. I've launched things. I've stopped things. I've spent money on things I probably wouldn't buy again. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I've had ideas that worked better than I imagined + others that made me go, โ€œWelllllโ€ฆ we won't do THAT again.โ€

And somehow, all of it taught me something. I think that's what building a business actually looks like.

You make the best decision you can with what you know todayโ€ฆ and you trust yourself enough to adjust tomorrow.

So if you're in a season where you don't have the entire plan mapped out, that's okay. ๐Ÿค

You don't need to see ten steps ahead. Sometimes you just need enough clarity for the next one.

โœจ This week's affirmation: I trust myself enough to take the next step without knowing every step.

Save this for the Sunday you need it. And tell me below โ€” are you in a season of building, growing or pivoting right now? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

One of the biggest lessons I've learned as a business owner: You can be too close to your own business to see what's wrong.

I've done it.

You stare at the same offer. The same pricing. The same marketing. The same problem.

And eventually you're rearranging things just to feel like you're doing something. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sometimes you don't need another 47-module course. You need someone who understands this industry to look at what you're doing and say:

โ€œHere's what I would change.โ€

That's one of the reasons I offer private mentoring sessions. Bring me the thing you're stuck on.

Your offer. Your pricing. Your marketing. Your client journey. Your Head Spa launch. Your next business move.

And we'll work through it together.

I don't believe mentorship should leave you with MORE things to think about. You should leave knowing what you're doing next.

๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ DM me MENTOR if you'd like information about working with me 1:1.
