Our owl boxes provide protected habitat among the vines, and this season they’re full of life: one box holds three eggs, while another is home to a young owlet.

Our 2025 Oakville Estate Sauvignon Blanc isn’t available just yet, but summer is already calling for a chilled glass.

Crafted from our Oakville Estate in limited quantities, the 2024 Estate Sauvignon Blanc gains beautiful texture and complexity from fermentation in neutral French oak, second-fill Acacia barrels, and concrete eggs. The result is bright, refreshing, and layered, made for patio dinners, sunny afternoons, and every summer moment in between.

The Insectary Garden is waking up, and it’s full of little moments if you slow down to look.

A flash of quail in the branches, a lizard sunning on stone, and flowers opening between the vines. This garden is more than a beautiful corner of the estate. It creates habitat for pollinators and other beneficial insects, supports birds and other wildlife, and helps restore natural balance to the vineyard.

We gathered at Hillview Estate to celebrate Origins Day, a day dedicated to the vineyards, people, and places that shaped Groth from the very beginning.

Our story began at our Oakville Estate, where Dennis and Judy Groth’s vision took root and where our commitment to estate vineyards, thoughtful farming, and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon became the foundation for everything that followed.

This year, we honored that history at Hillview Estate, a place that became an important part of the Groth story and helped shape our early Merlot program.
Surrounded by vines, shared bottles, and the people who carry our legacy forward, we reflected on the land and purpose that continue to define us today.

From the beginning, Dennis’ vision has been deeply rooted in Oakville, in its land, its character, and its extraordinary ability to produce wines with a true sense of place. Alongside Judy, Dennis helped lay the foundation for Groth with a belief in stewardship, patience, and the enduring promise of Napa Valley.

That vision continues to guide us today - in the vineyards, in the cellar, and in every bottle shared around a table with family, friends, and those who have become part of the Groth story.
