Can we go back for a second? 😄
Remember when "working out" wasn't a thing we scheduled — it was just called PLAYING?
You were outside from the time school let out until those street lights came on. And when those lights flickered? Mama didn't have to call twice. 😂
We were jumping rope, running bases, playing freeze tag, riding bikes, skipping, hopping hopscotch... and nobody called it "cardio." We just called it Tuesday.
🪢 And that jump rope? Honey, that was full-body conditioning.
🏃🏾♀️ Those sprints to the porch? Interval training.
🌅 Playing until dark? Two hours of movement without even thinking about it.
Now look at us. 👀
We set three alarms to remind ourselves to take a 10-minute walk. 😅
Here's the thing though — your body hasn't forgotten how to move. It just got busy. And somewhere between the responsibilities, the diagnoses, and the exhaustion... movement became an afterthought.
But movement is MEDICINE. Especially when you're managing:

❤️ High blood pressure
🫁 COPD or asthma
🦴 Arthritis
⚖️ Weight-related conditions
You don't have to run a 5K. You just have to start moving again — in a way that feels good to YOUR body, at YOUR pace.
That little girl who jumped rope until the lights came on? She's still in there. 🌸
