Months ago, one of our teammates joked that her dream wedding gift would be Joe Jonas making an appearance. Most people would laugh and move on. Instead, our team spent months figuring out how to make it happen.
Thanks to the power of relationships across our parent Orchestra network—and the generosity of Joe himself—that joke became reality. During her wedding festivities, we rolled out a TV and surprised Courtney with a personalized video message from Joe, complete with marriage advice and a few jokes at the groom’s expense. Her reaction was priceless.
Company culture isn’t the perks, the parties, or the values written on a wall. It’s paying attention when someone mentions something that matters to them. It’s teammates who care enough to turn an offhand comment into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. It’s a group of people deciding that making someone else feel celebrated is worth the effort.
