🏈 THE NFL IS BACK.

And for kickoff day, we’re throwing it back to one of the most legendary plays in football history: The Immaculate Reception.

December 23, 1972. The Steelers were down 7–6 to the Raiders with just seconds left and facing 4th-and-10.

Terry Bradshaw fired a desperation pass. The ball ricocheted off a collision downfield, somehow stayed alive, and Franco Harris scooped it up inches before it hit the turf — then took it all the way to the end zone for the game-winning touchdown.

The play gave Pittsburgh its first playoff win in franchise history, sparked the beginning of the Steelers dynasty of the 1970s, and more than 50 years later, people are still debating exactly what happened on that deflection.

That’s how you kick off a legacy. 🏆
