Psalm 120:7 says:

“I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.”

Some of us have spent years trying to create peace with people who are committed to conflict.
Trying to explain.
Trying to fix.
Trying to prove.
Trying to be understood.
At some point, you have to realize:
You are responsible for what you bring to the conversation.
You are not responsible for what they bring.

Choose peace.
Even if they don’t.

Being double-minded isn’t just doubt.
It’s trying to live in faith and fear at the same time.
Praying for the blessing while preparing for failure.
Believing God on Sunday and panicking by Tuesday.
At some point, you have to decide:
Will I trust what God said?

“Sustain me according to Your promise.”
Whew.

Some seasons aren’t about asking for more.

They’re about asking God to keep you.
Keep your faith.
Keep your peace.

“God, sustain me.”

“I have strayed like a lost sheep; seek Your servant.”
That hit me.

Because so many of us have had seasons where we drifted.
Not because we stopped loving God.
Because life happened.
Pain happened.
Survival happened.

But thank God we serve a Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one.

The one that wandered.
The one that got lost.
The one that thought they were too far gone.

You are not forgotten.

The woman with the issue of blood suffered for 12 years.

Yet she believed:
“If I can just touch the hem of His garment, I will be healed.”

That’s the kind of faith I’m praying for.
The kind that reaches anyway.

The kind that pushes through the crowd, the fear, the doubt, and the obstacles.

Because sometimes the miracle starts before the touch.

One of the biggest misconceptions in homeownership is believing that if your bankruptcy is discharged, every obstacle automatically disappears.

That’s not always the case.

CAIVRS is a federal database used for government-backed loan programs such as FHA, VA, USDA, and certain SBA-related lending.

A bankruptcy discharge and a CAIVRS record are not the same thing.

And many borrowers don’t discover that until they’re already under contract.

That’s why understanding the mortgage process matters just as much as understanding your credit score.
