Earlier today at work, before attending the Oregon Innocence Project fundraiser, I was told that prisoners deserve what they get because they broke the law to go to prison... But that is an assumption. Everyone in prison is not guilty, and although many may have broken a law they were often times punished more severely that the crime warranted. Go to ojrc.org/oregon-innocence-project to find out more about wrongful conviction and to support the movement.

Take into consideration as well that people are being punished by their physical incarceration, whether guilty or not. If you can do a small part to make their stay better, why wouldn't you? Donate to Mending Minds Mobile Service today to reconnect a family unit in the tomorrow's to come!
