Summer is great for fishing, unfortunately, it’s also great for phishing.
With teams out of the office and the sun shining bright, hackers hope you let your guard down and take the bait. Here's a few tips:

1. Stop, wait, and think. Don't click anything.
2. Check the sender's email, does something seem off like a typo?
3. Check the offer, does it seem urgent or too good to be true?
4. CALL the person directly via their direct number, not the one listed in the email if any are there. DO NOT REPLY TO THE EMAIL.
5. Ask your IT department to take a look, they would rather double check than clean up a compromised email.
