When I first started this business, I told myself I was doing it for my family — for my kids and my grandkids. That’s how I’ve lived my whole life. I’ve always thought about everybody else before I ever thought about myself. I’ve always asked, “What do they need?” not “What do I need?”

Taking care of people is just who I’ve always been.

But over time, God started working on my heart. He started opening my eyes to something I didn’t want to see at first. I realized I’ve spent years making sure everyone else was okay… while quietly putting myself on the back burner.

And the hard truth is — when it comes down to it — nobody is waking up thinking about how to make life easier for me. Nobody is carrying my load the way I’ve carried theirs. And that doesn’t make them bad people… it just made me realize something had to change.

God showed me that it’s not selfish to finally think about me.

It’s not wrong to build something for myself.
It’s not wrong to want more for my own life.
It’s not wrong to stop overextending myself for people who are capable of standing on their own.

I’ve helped and supported my family my whole life. And I always will love them. But this time… this business… this decision… it’s for me.

It’s about me building a better future for myself.
It’s about me honoring what God placed in my heart.
It’s about me finally saying, “I matter too.”

Maybe God isn’t trying to isolate me — maybe He’s teaching me how to stand on my own. Maybe this season isn’t about proving anything to anyone else. Maybe it’s about me stepping into who I’m supposed to be.

For once in my life, I’m choosing me.

And I’m not apologizing for that.

Good morning, everyone. I want to share a little of my journey. I’ve been in this business for a couple of years, and while my progress hasn’t happened as quickly as I once hoped, I trust that God’s timing is perfect. Through this season, He’s been teaching me, stretching me, and surrounding me with incredible people. I’m staying focused, showing up, and being consistent—knowing that God is working even when I can’t see it. My journey may look different, but I know God is ordering my steps and He will bless the work of my hands in His perfect timing.
