I drove down to Ormand Beach to buy some planes for the classroom and had the pleasure of meeting Edmund. He has 40+ years of experience and is a true craftsman with an amazing shop. He was extremely generous and I left with far more than I bargained for. I hope to have Edmund in the shop to meet the kids and share his vast knowledge. After several months of focusing all my time on the Art of Sloyd program I finally made time to work on my toolbox. Made some good progress this week with getting the rolling base built, adding the middle drawer, and building a plane till for the main compartment. This morning is paint day and I have the first coat of milk paint on RMP Finishes. Next up the lid and fall front!
