The last of the fruit is in, and what a harvest it’s been 🍇

An exceptional growing season, beautiful fruit, and a crew that gave it their all from the first pick to the final bin. Our 2026 harvest is officially one for the books, and we couldn’t be prouder of the hands and hearts behind it.

Here’s one last look at the action before we turn our attention to the cellar. We have a feeling this vintage will be something special, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Cheers to 2026🍷

One of our favorite parts of harvest is inviting guests beyond the tasting room and into the heart of the w**ery, where they can experience firsthand the work that goes into every bottle.

And sometimes, that work requires a little muscle!

Here, our team is performing what we call a “roly-poly,” a hands-on technique used during our puncheon fermentations to gently roll each barrel and encourage extraction. Depending on the stage of fermentation, we may repeat this process several times a day, one barrel at a time.

It’s a labor of love, and just one of the many details that make harvest at Crocker & Starr so special.

Our 2023 ‘Stone Place’ Cabernet Sauvignon opens with black cherry, cassis, cacao nib and nutmeg, unfolding into dark cherry, sandalwood and sun-warmed stone. Fine tannins and mouthwatering acidity bring it all together with elegance, structure and remarkable balance.

Beautifully approachable today, yet built for the cellar, ‘Stone Place’ promises to evolve gracefully for 15+ years.
