W**e Enthusiast captured what makes our AVA unique in the new article, “Put This Windy Oregon AVA on Your Radar for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.” Writer Margot Mazur takes a closer look at what makes our corner of the Willamette Valley so distinctive. From the ancient marine sedimentary and volcanic soils beneath our feet to the winds that move through the Van Duzer Corridor and help shape the w**es grown here.
But the story of the Eola-Amity Hills is about more than what the land offers.

Erin Nuccio w**emaker and owner of Evesham Wood & Haden Fig shares the history behind the formation of the AVA and the collaborative spirit that continues today. Maggie Harrison of Antica Terra talks about how our wind and exposures influence the grapes and w**es. And Kathy Lauer, Eola-Amity Hills W**egrowers Association president and co-owner of Bryn Mawr Vineyards, speaks to the strength of the community our growers and w**emakers have built here.

It’s a good day when our Eola-Amity Hills AVA members get together. 🍷
One of the most important things we can do as an AVA is create space for our members to gather. Whether that means talking shop, sharing ideas, or simply catching up with friends new and old.

A strong community is good for the soul, but we think it’s good for the vines and w**es, too. We’re proud of the network we’ve built in the Eola-Amity Hills: people we can rely on during the growing season and celebrate alongside when another vintage is in the cellar.

James Suckling awards its FIRST Oregon 100-point Pinot Noir!
Rose & Arrows Estate’s Touchstone 2023 Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir receives a perfect 100-Point score, marking the second 100-point w**e from the AVA in the past year.

In its review,JamesSuckling’s staff writer and taster, Courtney Humiston, praised the w**e’s “power and structure,” noting its “deeply mineral” character layered with “fresh yet ripe dark fruit, fine tannins and spice,” calling the w**e “built to age forever but compelling and delicious right now.”
