Severtson Screens is proud to announce that it will highlight numerous NextGen cinema screens and coatings during Australian International Movie Convention (AIMC) 2026, held at The Star Gold Coast from Oct. 26 – Oct. 29, booth #8. During the event, Severtson will promote its popular SAT-4K Acoustically-Transparent cinema projection screen line, its most popular options for its acclaimed folded SēVision 3D GX line with enhanced projection screen coating, and more.

“Our SAT-4K has received tremendous accolades since its launch, and we are proud to build upon its success with the next generation which features an even finer weave and whiter material that makes the viewing image even better than before,” explained Toby Severtson, president and CEO of Severtson Corp. “Made in the USA, the SAT-4K’s acoustic abilities are not hampered by the finer weave, and we can now also seam SAT-4K for larger cinema screens to virtually limitless sizes.”

Severtson Screens is pleased to announce it is celebrating its 40th anniversary as a global leader in innovative and quality projection screens for the home theater, commercial, pro AV, and cinema markets.

“Severtson Corp. started in 1986, literally in our parents’ house,” explained Toby Severtson, Severtson Corp. President & CEO. “The company’s first job was with Arizona’s own Williams Air Force Base in response to the U.S. Air Force’s need to find both a quality optical coating and a uniform application process for the interior of their domed flight simulators.”

Now, in 2026, Severtson Corp. continues to be a global leader in innovation and quality, including its new folded technologies for cinema screens.

We will promote our recently launched Proteus Series projection screens with built-in masking system during CEDIA Expo 2026, held in Denver from Sept. 2-4 at the Colorado Convention Center, booth #1225. Proteus Series screens allow you to quickly and easily switch between 16:9 and 2.39:1 aspect ratios.

“The Proteus Series is the ultimate in home theater and permanent installation flexibility, designed with a built-in masking system that allows the aspect ratio of the screen to be changed at the push of a button for superior viewing versatility,” explained Aaron White, Home Theater & Pro AV sales lead at Severtson Corp. “As one of Severtson's most innovative technologies, Proteus’ masking material is designed to absorb all spill-over that results from the projected media and the viewing surface being in different native formats. This gives the viewer a razor-sharp viewing edge.”
