Job Description

Smith's Alarms & Electronics Inc. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Security & Fire Alarm Installation / Service Technician.

We specialize in residential and commercial burglar alarms, fire alarm systems, video surveillance, and related low-voltage systems.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to provide training to the right individual.

Job Responsibilities

Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain residential and commercial burglar alarm systems, fire alarms, and surveillance camera systems.
Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on the proper operation of their systems.

Troubleshoot equipment, wiring, and system-related issues.
Complete and submit required service reports, documentation, and job paperwork.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively.
Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
Job Requirements

Clean background and driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to work with tools, ladders, and low-voltage wiring.

Alarm Company Employee (ACE) registration is a plus.

Experience with networking, electrical wiring, fire alarms, or security systems is a big plus.
Previous experience in low-voltage installation or service is preferred but not required.
