One extra large Paddock ( 50 x 100) with 2 shelters available in Sebastopol near Graton. 375.00 a month partial care per horse (or 600 a month for 2 horses housed together)
This is primarily a partial care facility ( a step above self care) but some services are available for an additional charge. Full definition of partial care below.
Work/trade may be available to the right fit. Feeding & Cleaning a few mornings a week.

About the ranch:
Harvest Moon Ranch is a small private boarding facility located at the end of a private lane in west Sebastopol near the town of Graton.
The focus at the ranch is to create an environment that is as close to stress free as possible for the horses. Their happiness & health is paramount.
We have between 9 to 11 boarders at a time. So small & quiet & definitely a drama free zone.
There are aprox 135 mature trees on the property that provide lots of shade & a nice wind/weather break.
Paddock Footing is primarily sandy loam. Main feeding area of each paddock is amended with several thousand pounds of paving gravel and covered with rubber mats.
The Fencing around the ranch is all 5/6ft No climb fencing with a top tail with the exception of a couple paddocks that are pipe panels.
The ranch has the usual amenities -
All weather Arena (that does not close for weather, open year round)
Round pen with lights, large turn out space for up to 3 horses at a time, multiple grooming areas, dry safe tack room, barn with open stalls & cross ties, trailer parking (when available at an additional cost)
The ranch also has some less common amenities-
private feed rooms & private hay storage for 20 to 30 bales at a time.
The water that the horses drink is fully filtered & low In iron.
There is hot water available for mashes, etc.
We release fly predators monthly from Feb/March to October/November to keep the fly population small.
All manure is actively composted and then moved off property multiple times a year.
Fly suppression systems are allowed in individual shelters (owner provided)
We grow, cut & bale a low starch meadow grass that’s available to all boarders as a filler hay to extend the more expensive feed hay.
Mineral balancing your horses hay/feed is available to all boarders at no additional charge.
Defition of partial care:
Owners clean their paddocks daily.
We/the ranch feed your horse your hay twice a day. Am & pm.
Owners provide their own hay. There are lots of Benefits to purchasing your own hay - cost savings, ability to decide exactly what your horse will eat & how much.
We are happy to hang owner filled hay nets.
Owners do their own supplemental feeding, blanketing, fly masks, fly spray, meds, etc.
Some owners choose to co op their services & trade with others boarders.
Additional pre arranged services, Emergency care or vacation care is available at an additional cost.
Each boarder is set up with their own tools, hay storage & feed storage & tack storage.
We maintain the paddocks, shelters, footing & all amenities.
We keep an eye or rather many eyes on your horse and will notify you if there seems to be an issue. The property has residents overseeing things 24/7.
The area where the ranch is located has been deemed a low fire probably area. We also have multiple ways out of the property in the event there is a fire.
