You already have templates. They're still sitting in your downloads folder.

What you don't have is time to personalize them.

Corporate outreach is never due this week. The grant report is. The training update is. The board meeting is. So you never get to the outreach — not because it doesn't matter, but because everything else has a date attached and this new outreach doesn't.

Templates don't finish themselves. They finish in a room, with someone supporting you through it, on a day you put on the calendar.

Aligned & Sponsored: The Corporate Revenue Sprint
Tuesday, September 15 · 12 PM ET · 90 minutes

You leave with a partner one-pager a company contact can read in ninety seconds and forward, a tiered sponsorship menu built from your real program costs, and an outreach plan for the year. A live progress clinic follows four weeks later.

$97 — includes the complete toolkit to keep.

Corporate revenue extends your funding. It never replaces the public dollars and grants you fight to protect.

Built for smaller local programs. You don't need a development department to start.

Elevating your corporate sponsorship strategy is possible. In three actions this week.

Here is what the data actually says, because I want you working from the real picture.

Corporate giving has grown 60% over five years, against 29% for all giving. But growth slowed last year—corporate was the smallest increase of any source. And in January, new tax rules changed the math on small, scattered corporate gifts.

So companies are not giving less. They are giving more deliberately. Fewer partners. Bigger commitments. Chosen on fit.

And fit is not budget size. It is not having a development department. It is whether a company can see its own employees, customers, and neighbors in your work.

That part you can build.

Three actions, each under thirty minutes:

Know where you stand. Run the five-minute readiness audit.

Name three. Three companies whose people overlap with yours. Look local first.

Write one sentence. What a partner gets from the investment — not what you need.

Both audits, the full story arc, and a ten-minute strategy video are in the August Sustained At Last newsletter.

And if you would rather build it with me: the Aligned & Sponsored Corporate Revenue Strategy Live Session is September 15 at 12:00 PM EST. Ninety minutes. You leave with your Partner One-Pager written, your ROI story arc set, an 11-touch engagement plan, the full toolkit, and a progress mini-clinic to come.

Not notes about doing it later. The thing itself, done.

Your Mission. Your Financial Future. Both Matter.

Advocates and survivors are building businesses.

Consultants. Trainers. Curriculum developers. Coaches. Doulas. Photographers. People who spent years working a hotline, running a shelter program, providing technical assistance, and writing policies are now building something of their own, leveraging their incredible survivor-centered expertise.

Capital is one of the hardest parts of that build, and looking for it eats time you'd rather spend on the work.

So I pulled together what's actually open right now — 29 opportunities, each one confirmed on the funder's own website. Free ones marked. Eligibility stated plainly enough that you can rule things out in seconds.

One detail worth knowing: the Amber Grant's $15 fee can be waived if it's a hardship. You email and ask. It's in their own rules and almost nobody mentions it.

This is what a communal economy looks like in practice — we build the infrastructure for each other, because nobody else was going to.

Comment FUNDED, and I will send you the full list

Self-grace can show up in a million ways. And there are ten million ways it doesn't show up in the moments we need it most. 💛

We already know the "shoulds" — talk to yourself more kindly, support yourself differently, make room to grow. But we don't talk enough about what happens when we don't: the small moments compound, quietly, until they show up in our health and well-being in ways we can't afford to keep paying.

On August 6th, we're giving ourselves grace as part of the Audacious Art of Advocacy Self-Care. I'll share some stories and some strategies — and together we'll record the mother of all voice memos, the one we reach for when we need to be kinder, gentler, and more supportive of ourselves.

It's free, 12 PM ET, and you'll leave with a free grace deck to keep.

Here's my very unpopular opinion: a plan with action steps has never been enough for me to make a real decision.
Not to turn a situation around. Not to build toward something stronger. When the funding picture keeps shifting underneath you — a renewal that doesn't come through, a mid-stream cut no one planned for — a list of next steps doesn't tell you what to actually do with your team, your board, and your mission all on the line.
You need more than a checklist. You need something you can see, question out loud, and stand on.
That's what we built Sustained At Last to give you — and once a month, we open the doors and show you exactly how it works. Free.
In 45 minutes, alongside executive directors from across the country, you'll see the dashboards in action and get a feel for the kind of support that:
→ helps you make decisions and turn things around, not just track tasks
→ cheers on the incredible work your team is already doing to move the mission forward
→ keeps your board grounded in their championship — so they see clearly how they're a catalyst for your unrestricted revenue and fundraising
This isn't about replacing your development plan. It's about extending it, so your mission and your financial future can both hold steady.
You'll see the dashboards, hear about the supportive services, and ask us anything.

We really did build all of this to make things easier and more supportive for you — now and in the future. I hope you'll come.
