ations to come, the beginning events about the settlers and the Native American Indians in our area. The name comes from the four rivers in Spotsylvania County, Virginia: Mat, Ta, Po, and Ni, which forms the Mattaponi River. The name "Mattaponi" has been used in history to name the Indian tribe once ruled by Chief Powhatan, Pocahontas' father. In the beginning, the Native American Indians showed the settlers how to survive on these berries, and today we would like to present to you these same delightful berries of Virginia as a wine. Come to our charming log cabin and relax with others with the perfect blend of our Award-Winning and Specialty wines. We have used the Virginia Algonquin language to name some of our wines, which is the Native American Indian language that was almost lost until you took a taste in time. . . Mattaponi W**ery will be participating in and renting spaces to other vendors for The Annual Route 208 Sales Trail in Spotsylvania County, VA, featuring a large number of yard sales, antique shops, and sales along a 24-mile stretch of Route 208 (Courthouse Road/Business Route). It's a great opportunity to find deals, explore the area, and enjoy a scenic drive.

If you are looking for a place to set up and sell, Please call or text Natalie @ 571-285-6111. Space for one day is $20 and two days is $25 for a 20’x20’ space. After hours property is secure with entrance and exit gates locked and bright flood lights so you don’t have to pack until the event is over. Location is just off of 208, and we had a great turn out last year. Reserve your spot now.
