01/02/2026
Dear Friends, as we enter a new year, I want to wish you and your family good health, renewed hope, and success in 2026. This year is especially significant as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary. It serves as a strong reminder that our self-government was never meant to be controlled by career politicians. Thomas Jefferson and our Founding Fathers never envisioned people holding elected office for 50 or 60 years. Protecting our nation depends on informed citizens who stay involved and hold every elected leader accountable.
As Republicans, we begin this year with a clear view of the challenges ahead of us and a firm belief that a better path is within reach.
Across much of the country, families are being asked to pay more while receiving less. Higher taxes, rising tolls, and increased energy costs continue to strain household budgets, while meaningful reforms supported by President Trump remain out of reach. Expanding budgets and repeated tax increases may keep some large blue-city governments operating, but they do not solve our problems as a nation or inspire confidence in our nation’s future.
Too often, elected officials place their own political comfort ahead of the needs of our working families. Opportunities for tax relief and economic growth are ignored, making it harder for businesses to invest and for families to move forward.
Equally troubling are the ethical failures that continue to erode public trust at every level of government. Investigations across the country have uncovered serious misuse of pandemic relief funds by public employees, money meant to help small businesses survive. These findings confirm what many Americans already believe: corruption is widespread, accountability is uneven, and trust in our government is fading fast.
As we reflect on 250 years of our country’s independence, we are reminded that our system works only when our citizens demand better, better leadership, responsible use of taxpayer dollars, and real results for families and communities, not just sound bites for a news channel.
Republicans believe we can do better, and we must do better. We stand for responsible budgets, honest government, and policies that reward work, innovation, and personal responsibility. America should be a place where families can afford to live, businesses can thrive, and trust is earned, and never just assumed.
In the year ahead, it is critical that we elect true conservative Republicans at every level of government so that we maintain control of our states and our House and Senate majorities. Doing so ensures leadership remains accountable to the people and not in the hands of entrenched Democratic political establishments.
In closing, I wish you all a very Happy New Year. I look forward to working alongside many of you in the months ahead as we help President Trump maintain our Republican majorities in Congress and improve the daily lives of American families.
May God continue to bless you, your family, and our 250-year-old nation, the United States of America.
