In our latest episode of the AuxTalks Podcast, Megan Marszalek, Founder of Legacy Heirloom, shares how a deeply personal experience inspired her to become an entrepreneur and build a platform that helps families preserve the stories and memories behind the things that matter to them.

After her grandmother passed away, Megan helped her family sort through 91 years of belongings and thousands of decisions about what to keep, pass down or let go. The experience made her realize how easily the stories behind meaningful possessions can be lost and inspired her to create a better way for families to capture them while the people who know those stories are still here.

Megan also discusses making the leap into entrepreneurship, building a product without a technical background and the challenges of bringing it to market.

If you are interested in entrepreneurship, preserving family stories or the journey of turning a personal experience into a startup, this episode is for you-

Startups often begin when a challenge needs a better solution.

In the latest episode of the AuxTalks Podcast, Hank Stolz and Zachary Dutton chat with Nick D'Errico and Louis Jaros Jaros, Co-Founders of PointShot, to discuss how decades of hockey coaching inspired a platform to better support athletes, families and coaches.

Nick and Lou recognized a common challenge: families struggled to find trusted coaches, coaches lacked the tools to grow their businesses and athletes had no easy way to track their development over time. They built PointShot to solve these problems in one place, an athlete development platform and coaching marketplace that connects athletes with trusted coaches, while also giving coaches the tools they need to grow their businesses.

In the episode, they share how PointShot has evolved from an idea into a growing company, the pivots they have made along the way and the lessons they learned as founders.
