🚨 HOUSE ROBBERY SUSPECTS APPREHENDED 🚨
At approximately 00h55, Community-Funded CCTV cameras that is monitored by Fox was triggered by four suspicious males on the Glenvista Golf Course. FOX Tactical Response Units were immediately deployed to investigate.
While conducting the search, a house robbery was reported in the Bassonia Koppie area. Officers subsequently observed four suspects fleeing across the golf course from the direction of the incident.
During the pursuit, the suspects opened fire on our Tactical Response Team. Our officers maintained pursuit and successfully apprehended one suspect. A firearm, along with bags containing suspected stolen electronic items, was recovered. The electornics was later identified by the home owners as property that was taken during the initial house robbery.
The suspect was handed over to SAPS for further investigation.
Follow-up information led officers to the Turffontein area, where a second suspect was located. During the ensuing incident, the suspect sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
