Guests at BVSA's Dinner in the Dark fundraiser on Friday 23 October enjoyed an unusual experience at the Protea Hotel King George, where they tucked into their starters without being able to see who was sitting across the table.

Behind every muddy jersey 🏃🏿‍♂️scorching heat practice and post-match grin, there’s someone who said “yes” to these boys. 💚

That someone is BVSA. 🙏

Thank you for making our U12 season possible. When the final whistle blows, our boys will remember the friendships, the wins and the lessons, and we will know that you helped write every one of those stories. 🏉🦅

Drop a 💚 for BVSA!

BVSA turned out the lights and let our youth shine! Our Dinner in the Dark brought people together for an evening of fun and fundraising, giving young leaders the chance to host while raising funds to invest back into youth leadership development. Because at BVSA, we are more than just numbers.

We loved hosting our Don’t Stop Me Now Dinner and Date Night at Protea Hotels by Marriott King George with our partners, JCJ Construction, VE Reticulation, The Good Stuff Company, Savannah Helicopters, Rauch Gertenbach - George, George Herald and Palm Tyre George. Their contributions helped us to make Dining in the dark an experience to remember, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together in support of young people.

A heartfelt thank you to every guest who joined us and contributed to the funds raised. Thank you also to Melissa Page School of Dance, York High School and Heroldsbaai Stranddiens for being part of the evening. The Carpe Diem School, George South Africa choir and marimba band brought such energy to the room, and Ava’s dance and South African Sign Language performance was a highlight.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the night so special. Here are some of our favourite moments! 📸
