Our w**emaker, Andrew and Danie tasting through the Bakenkop Blanc Fumé 2024 - carefully evaluating every detail to ensure the w**e reflects the quality, character and precision for which we strive.

Think blackcurrant, granadilla and grapefruit, layered with subtle smoke and spice, refreshing acidity and a long, saline finish. Only 1,566 bottles produced!

In celebration thereof, we're pouring the iconic Mellish Family Vineyards' Pinotage and Syrah, alongside a sneak-peak of Barton Vineyards' soon to be labelled and released juicy Rouge.

A moment of reflection on the journey of Die Wynmeester thusfar.

There have been challenges, unexpected moments, plenty of lessons and even more laughter.

What appears on screen is only a small part of the experience. Behind the scenes, new friendships have been formed, comfort zones have been tested and unforgettable memories have been made.

It’s been a privilege sharing this journey with such a talented group of w**emakers and everyone who works tirelessly behind the camera.

Apparently sabrage is serious business… although these behind the scenes photos might suggest otherwise 🥂

A few bottles lost their heads, everyone else kept theirs and we had a proper laugh while filming episode 6 of Die Wynmeester .

Safe to say, I take the w**e seriously - myself, slightly less so.

A taste of Mellish Family Vineyards in Hermanus.

We poured the iconic Blanc Fume, who recently achieved gold at Trophy W**e Show along with the juicy Chenin, fleshy Pinotage and velvety Syrah.

Johannesburg, we’re here and we’ve brought the w**e! 🍷

We’re looking forward to a busy few days of pouring our w**es, sharing our story and meeting some wonderful people along the way.

Our Jozi journey takes us from Hurlingham Manor W**e Club to The Block Restaurant & W**e Bar, before finishing at Fourways Gardens Estate.
