For Cellarmaster Elunda Basson and Viticulturist Vlok Hanekom, this recognition is about more than individual scores. Steenberg's w**es are shaped by two teams from vine to bottle.

The vineyard team works granite soil from Stone Mountain, reading each season's conditions to decide exactly when the grapes are picked. Once harvested, the fruit moves into the cellar, where cellar master Elunda Basson and her team let the character already built into the grape carry through to the bottle

Every bottle reflects this handover between vineyard and cellar, a process built on years, not shortcuts.
