GRADE 1

🏃‍♂️ Our learners had an absolute blast conquering an outdoor obstacle course! 🏃‍♀️ From crawling through tunnels to carefully navigating balance logs and stepping tires, they put their gross motor skills into high gear. 🪵 Leveling up their physical development, the learners practiced their balance, coordination, and agility by challenging both their dominant and non-dominant legs across each step and jump. 👟 Watching their confidence, determination, and big smiles shine through every obstacle was pure magic! 🌟💪✨

🪘 BEAT AS ONE – Rhythm Matters! 🎶

Our school was buzzing with excitement for Casual Day! This year’s theme, "Beat as One: Rhythm Matters," reminded us of the power of unity, inclusion, and coming together to support persons with disabilities. 🤝❤️ To bring this powerful message to life, our Head Prefect, Jeydan Dalasile delivered an inspiring speech to raise awareness across the school community. Inspired by the theme, our learners incorporated traditional drums to celebrate the rhythm that connects us all! 🥁✨

GRADE 7

During our August Jacaranda Cares drive, our compassionate Grade 7 learners stepped out into the community to share warm, hearty meals of fresh bobotie and rice across EdenGlen, Edenvale, Greenstone, and Stoneridge. This initiative was uniquely funded by our Grade 7s themselves, using the stall rental money collected by the school from their recent EMS Market Day project, the school matched the total sum rand for rand to purchase and prepare all the ingredients. With big smiles and dedicated hearts, our learners personally handed out 50 hot meals to local residents and workers, embodying our school's commitment to empathy, leadership, and active community service!

GRADE 2

🎨🧵 Creativity in Action with Grade 2! 👩‍⚕️👮‍♂️👨‍🚒

Our Grade 2 learners brought important community helpers to life using incredible imagination and everyday materials! From doctors with miniature masks and syringes to police officers and rescue workers complete with socks, yarn, and clever accessories, their handcrafted puppets were a absolute joy to see. 🧤✂️✨

It’s wonderful to see our young stars exploring the roles of those who care for, protect, and serve our community while developing their fine motor skills and artistic talents. Outstanding work, Grade 2! 🌟👏

GRADE R

🏃‍♂️🤸‍♀️ Grade R in Motion! 🤸‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Our energetic Grade R learners had a fantastic time completing their balance, movement, and spatial orientation assessment! From stepping over colorful obstacle courses outdoors to mastering focus and poise with balancing tricks indoors, our little stars showed off their incredible coordination, agility, and giant smiles. We are so proud of their hard work and growing confidence! 🌟👏

GRADE 3

✨ Our Grade 3 learners brought storytelling to life today! 📚🎨 The classroom was buzzing with excitement as they used imaginative props to present their wonderfully creative stories. 🎭🧸 From homemade costumes to clever hand-crafted stage items, their original ideas and bright minds were on full display! 🌟 We are so proud of our young storytellers for stepping up with confidence and showing us just how far their big imaginations can take them. 👏👏

🛍️ Market Day Magic! ☀️🧁

What a fantastic Friday we had! Our Grade 7 entrepreneurs truly outdid themselves during this years Market Day. The sunshine was out, the energy was high, and the smiles said it all!

Events like Market Day are a vital part of our curriculum, giving our senior learners practical hands on experience in business planning, budgeting, teamwork, and leadership. From delicious homemade cupcakes and sweet treats to fun interactive setups, our Grade 7s showed incredible creativity and business savvy.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our young sellers you made the day a massive success!

Our brilliant Grade 5 learners have been hard at work bringing storytelling to life for their Afrikaans Fables Project! 🦊🐢📖

From researching classic morals to designing colourful poster displays, cut-outs, and digital layouts, these stars put so much effort, teamwork, and big smiles into their work today! 🎨✂️💻💡We love seeing our learners engaged, helping one another, and showing off their amazing talents.
