HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO FIRE OPERATIONS! 🚨🎉

It is official! We are incredibly proud to announce that Fire Operations has received certification for their Integrated Management System covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001!

This is a historic moment as they become the FIRST private Fire Fighting and Rescue service in all of Africa to achieve ISO certification. Talk about living up to your motto: "Always First!" 🥇

Implementing these systems over the last few months was a significant journey, and their dedication to quality, safety, and the environment is truly inspiring.

We are excited to continue this partnership and look forward to maintaining your world-class systems in 2026. Well done to the whole team!

🕊️ Remembering September 11, 2001 🕊️

At PConnect Management Systems, our Managing Director reflects on the day that changed the world:

“We went for a haircut, then stopped at McDonald’s. While sitting there, the TV broke the news. As kids, we made a joke. My dad simply said: ‘You would not laugh if you knew the amount of lives lost today.’”

Growing up around the Fire Department, 9/11 had a profound impact on my life – especially the memory of the 343 firefighters who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a firefighter. But after school, my path shifted – I chose the proactive approach of saving lives through Health and Safety.

Many forget that preventing incidents before they happen saves just as many lives as those rescued in moments of crisis. As Health & Safety Professionals, our work is sometimes overlooked, but for many of us, it is a true calling – inspired by a conviction to make a difference before it’s too late.

I will never forget September 11, 2001.
Today, we honour the bravery of the first responders, and we stand every day with the same conviction – to save lives and protect people.
