Just taking care of me for the next week or two after throwing my uterus an eviction party today. 👋🏼😂

Yep… hysterectomy day has arrived. 👋🏼 Bye Felicia!!!🖕🏼

Hopefully by the time you’re reading this, I’m safely in recovery & the eviction is officially complete. 🤞🏼💋

So for once I’m taking my own advice, putting the hustle down & giving myself permission to properly switch off.

A HUGE thank you to my awesome clients for having my back on this one & giving me the space to do exactly that. 🥹💋

Management has now officially called the meeting to a close. 😂 But have they? Have I? Does it ever really stop 🤯

🪧 Out of office pending …

In exactly 7 days I am going OFFLINE. 🚫 💻

And not my usual version of offline where I’m somehow still answering emails from the couch. 🤭 🛋️

Actual forced rest! Surgery. Recovery. Actual leave!!!!

Does anyone know who I can give my sick certificate to?

I’ll be out of action for approximately 2-6 weeks, depending on how recovery goes. My thumbs will probably be back online before the rest of me is back out & about & on the tools. 🤳🏼

So if you need something from me beforehand, now is very much the time to yell. I have limited capacity this week.

Emails. Questions. Loose ends. Anything you need from me before I disappear for a bit… this is your warning!

It’s awards night! 🏆 Tonight I’m heading to the Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards at Red Energy Arena thanks to me awesome clients at the Tea House Motor Inn & Apartments, Bendigo Accommodation , while also cheering VERY loudly for fellow clients The Woodhouse Bar & Grill Bendigo , all the other “houses” 😂
There’s so many brilliant local businesses, friends & familiar faces… including my very own graphic designer, Chelsea aka Chelsea 🦄 Koetsveld 🦄 💋 up for awards tonight! Good luck to all.

I’m especially proud to see my clients recognised in categories that so perfectly reflect the passion they have for their individual businesses, teams & their respective industries. Getting to help tell even a little piece of those stories is pretty bloody special. 🥰

Well that’s a bit nice!! Just an unexpected text of gratitude, a simple pack on the back for doing what they pay me to do, from a client for my Wednesday afternoon!

There’s something to be said about the power of kindness.

I’m a huge believer of the passing of positive feedback, especially in a world where it’s so easy to critique, and give negative feedback online on so many platforms that can really harm a business, a persons morale and so on. It’s often faceless and I think cowardly. I’d actually like to petition for people to have a license to have a keyboard! What do you think?!

It’s something I pride myself on doing, from telling and thanking the person on the checkout at the supermarket that I appreciate the service they’ve given me today, to taking the time to use the name of the person that serving me at the cafe the restaurant and the checkout. A little goes a long way right!

So I decided to screenshot this little series of text messages that made my day yesterday, and give it, it’s moment on the grid!

When was the last time you told someone they were doing a great job just because. Stop thinking it and start saying it, be the sunshine!! Do it!

And to this client, thank you again, I told you, you made my day, but on reflection maybe you made my week!! THANK YOU!!! 🧡
