Following on from last week, Garry has continued the momentum – it has been another busy week on the road delivering training across Adelaide and Melbourne in support of our national clients.
From hands-on instructional sessions through to practical, site-specific guidance, it’s all about ensuring teams are confident, compliant, and prepared when it matters most.
Garry will be returning to Brisbane next week, but the focus remains the same – helping organisations stay aligned with AS 3745:2010 and QBFSR 2008 requirements, and ready to respond in the event of an emergency.

National reach, local expertise, and a strong focus on safety.

Our Managing Director, Garry, returned to Australia last week and wasted no time getting back into it - hitting the ground running with trips to Sydney and Adelaide to support some of our valued national clients.

While away he’s been busy delivering instructional sessions, marking up evacuation diagrams, reviewing emergency procedure manuals and carrying out fire compliance inspections - all in accordance with AS 3745:2010 and QBFSR 2008 requirements.

At Fire EMT, we’re committed to ensuring our clients remain compliant, informed, and prepared - no matter where they are across the country. It’s great to see that commitment in action!

National reach, local expertise, and a strong focus on safety.

The Fire EMT team has just finished a big week of emergency preparedness with one of our longstanding clients, Griffith University.

Our instructors completed 10 building evacuation exercises and 2 warden instructional sessions, in conjunction with the Wardens and Chief Wardens at Griffith.

Griffith University continues to set the standard with their proactive approach to campus safety and emergency readiness. Fire EMT is proud to support such a committed and safety conscious organisation.

Thank you to Hayley for providing key administrative support in organising these sessions and to Steve and Ray for conducting all of our onsite training this week!

On Thursday, two of our instructors, Steve and Ray, were on the ground at Sunshine Coast Airport delivering a full suite of essential fire safety services.

These services included:
- Instructional fire safety sessions (including an Evacuation Exercise)
- Emergency Evacuation diagram installations.
- Fire Safety Inspections to directly assess compliance with QBFSR & AS 3745:2010

We’re proud to continue supporting Sunshine Coast Airport whilst they undertake key projects. Our instructional sessions ensure that their team is equipped, prepared, and meeting all regulatory requirements for emergency planning and evacuation safety (even whilst undergoing major construction inside the terminal!)

It’s always a privilege working with organisations committed to upholding the highest safety standards and we enjoy being able to assist in maintaining emergency planning during the various phases of construction!
