I’ve always believed the best weddings aren’t about having more.

More flowers
More styling
More everything

They’re about choosing the right details.

For & Gav, it was pearl pears, sculptural calla lilies, candlelight and a beautiful space filled with the people who matter most.

Simple
Thoughtful
Timeless

Exactly how a wedding should feel 🤍

Nearly a decade in in business and yes… I’m still out here lifting tables into my boot solo 😅

There are seasons where the team is bigger.
And there are seasons where it’s just you.
The owner.
The stylist.
The packer.
The delivery driver.
The admin girl.
The cleaner.

Sometimes the budget isn’t there for extra hands.
Sometimes you’re still building.
Sometimes you’re carrying more than people realise.
I think social media can make it look like everyone has a warehouse full of staff and everything runs effortlessly behind the scenes.

The truth?
A lot of us are still slogging it out.
Still loading cars.
Still doing late nights.
Still figuring it out.
And honestly… I’m not ashamed of that.
Because every table lifted, every setup done, every season that felt hard… helped build this.
10 years in and I’m still showing up.
Still creating.
Still backing myself.
Unapologetically.

Hill I’ll die on…

Beautiful events do not need to equal waste.

I think somewhere along the way we were sold the idea that luxury means more.

More flowers
More decor
More stuff

But after almost 10 years in this industry, I actually think the opposite.

Some of the most beautiful celebrations I’ve created were the ones with intention behind them.

Reuse the ceremony flowers
Hire instead of buy
Choose pieces that have a second life
Leave space for the design to breathe

And maybe my biggest one…

Beautiful spaces should not end in trailers full of landfill.

I know this opinion won’t be for everyone and that’s okay.

But creating thoughtful, low waste celebrations has become something I care deeply about.

Less waste.
More meaning.
Still beautiful.
Always.

Paige and Rob’s Italian long lunch in Cobaki was something special.

Set just outside a rustic shed overlooking the property, we let the space lead the design. Fresh herbs, chillies, marigolds and limes gathered from the garden were woven through the table, adding texture, colour and a real sense of place. The produce from the veggie garden was a highlight, simple and seasonal.

I love that this work takes me to spaces like this. It’s less about creating from scratch, and more about responding to what’s already there and elevating it in a considered way.

There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes.

The past 18 months have shifted the way I see my work, my brand, and the space I want to take.

Letting go of what no longer feels aligned hasn’t been easy, but it’s brought a level of clarity I didn’t have before.

What I’m creating now feels more intentional.
More considered.
More me.

I can feel a new chapter of Klara’s House taking shape, and I can’t wait to share it.

A little honesty from behind the scenes.
Business has felt quieter lately, and if I’m honest, that has challenged me more than I expected.

When you’ve been in business for nearly a decade, there can be this pressure to feel like you should have it all figured out by now. Like if you’re not constantly growing or “killing it,” you must be doing something wrong.
But I’m learning that growth doesn’t always look loud.

Sometimes it looks like refinement.

Sometimes it looks like letting go of what no longer aligns.

Sometimes it looks like rebuilding, quietly and intentionally.

This season has stretched me, but it’s also bringing me closer to the version of this business I’ve always wanted Klara’s House to become.

If you’re in a quieter season too, maybe this is your reminder that not every chapter is meant to be loud. Some are simply where the becoming happens.

A quiet moment before it all comes together.

Prepping flowers in the studio for our Gold Coast Airport event.
It’s never the most glamorous part, but it’s where everything begins.

Each stem, cleaned and considered.
Each detail, thought through before it ever reaches the space.

There’s something I love about this stage.
It’s slow, a little messy, and full of intention.

From here, it all unfolds.

Nearly 10 years of creating spaces like this and it still gives me goosebumps.

The behind the scenes is always a little chaotic packing, lifting, styling, tweaking every detail.

But then the moment arrives… women gather, conversations flow, connections happen and the space takes on a life of its own.

That’s when you remember why you do it.

Intentional spaces have the power to bring people together.

And that will always be worth it. ✨
