If you’re looking for something low key this Father’s Day, then come and spend the day with us.

Whoever your Father figure is for you, we have award winning wines, a great team looking after you, and a beautiful Estate to enjoy sharing your precious moments. Plenty of open space for the kids to run free, and quiet corners if you’re looking for a more intimate space.

We have a simple, but high-quality offering of charcuterie and cheese to keep the buds pricked, great with our wines, designed for sharing, uncomplicated.

We hope to see you there, and while you’re at it, you should try our freshly released 2025 Yarra Valley Syrah...we reckon it’s a bit of a winner!

International Cabernet Sauvignon Day!!

We produce some outstanding examples of cool-climate Cabernet here in the Yarra Valley - wines of incredible structure and finesse. Our Estate at Medhurst wines is pressed up against the Western side of the Warramate Ranges, grown in Ironstone gravel, and on North facing slopes. Our Cabernet is a pure expression of site and season.

For the second consecutive year, we have been awarded Best Rosé at the Yarra Valley Wine Awards!! We couldn’t be more grateful.

This is testament to our ongoing commitment to make the best example of Rosé that we possibly can. We take no shortcuts, we treat it with respect, and most of all, we produce a style that we want to drink ourselves!!

A huge thank you to the whole team at the Yarra Valley Wine Show for putting on such a great event, and congratulations to all of the trophy winners and participants. We are certainly in great company and part of an incredible wine community here in the Yarra Valley.

We are delighted to announce that not only have we won the Best Chardonnay at the Royal Agricultural Society NSW for our 2024 Medhurst Estate Chardonnay, but we have also been awarded Best White Wine of show.

It is an absolute honour to stand side by side with some incredible Chardonnay producers. Congratulations to all the finalists.

A huge congratulations to Rohan, Kathy, and the whole team here at Medhurst who work so hard to ensure we grow the best possible fruit we can and treat this fruit with the upmost respect in the winemaking process.

This rounds out an incredible week of awards for us here at Medhurst. We are absolutely blown away and humbled by the recognition we have received!

Thank you to Royal Agricultural Society NSW for putting on such an incredible event. Happy 200 years! We’ll see you next year!

Happy international Pinot Day everyone! We couldn’t be happier that we’re located in one of the world’s most incredible Pinot producing regions, and part of a collective of incredible producers shining the light on this beautiful variety - The Yarra Valley.

The diversity of altitudes, soil profiles and producers is mind blowing, all of which make this one of the most exciting places to be.

S I G N A L S

We are always blown away how nature signals to us the change in seasons. Whilst we still have a month of winter ahead of us, the bright gold flowers of Acacia paint the landscape with a promise of warmer weather ahead.

Our vines are still in dormancy, recovering from last year’s harvest, and preparing for the new. We have no doubt that there is plenty going on underground, and energy is building – a beautiful time to visit our Estate.

Freshly pruned vines will forge the direction of growth for the new growing season, resulting in a well-shaped canopy and better air flow.

Our Estate is 350 acres, however only 40 of those acres are planted under vine. The remaining acreage is relatively untouched, promoting a huge amount of biodiversity and encouraging a healthy ecosystem. We see reward from this approach through healthy, productive vines and high-quality fruit. It is our responsibility to respect this fruit and produce the best wines we possibly can in the winery.
