The The Inclusion Project Hawthorn Football Club staff were fortunate to attend the the “Embracing Neurodiversity” workshop ran by Patricia Falcetta.

It was a great insight into the unique strengths of neurodiversity and how to best use those strengths.

Many valuable lessons and practical guidance was obtained through the workshop.

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible work of our Launceston clients Dean and Matthew, who have been supporting Hawthorn Football Club as Inclusion Project Officers on game days at UTAS Stadium.

Through a long-standing partnership with The Inclusion Project, Dean and Matthew are part of making AFL games more welcoming and accessible for everyone. From greeting patrons and helping direct them to the sensory room, to spreading the word about inclusive initiatives - these roles are making a real difference.

Thank you to Hawthorn FC and the Hawks Community Foundation for backing inclusion in action. And a huge shoutout to our support staff who continue to empower our clients to thrive in these community-facing roles.
