The company has called on the federal government to support public road trials ahead of new national automated vehicle laws expected in 2029.

Currently, Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) technology still requires a driver behind the wheel, with fully autonomous robotaxis not yet permitted in Australia.

Tesla also revealed that drivers across Australia and New Zealand have travelled more than 160 million kilometres using FSD.

Today Campbell Martin from Australian Wildlife Conservancy visited the Simplygreen team to share the impact our partnership is having on Australia’s wildlife and land.

Campbell took us through Australia’s extinction crisis and AWC’s role in tackling it. We explored their wildlife sanctuaries, including a new one in Tasmania, the native species they protect, and the science behind their conservation efforts. We also learnt how AWC combats feral cats and foxes, and why protecting the Mala (rufous hare-wallaby) is so important.

We’re proud to partner with AWC. Their work protecting native species and landscapes is critical for Australia’s future, and it’s great to hear about it first-hand. 💚

We joined Greenfleet last Thursday to plant trees at the Strzelecki Nature Link, on Boonwurrung Country in South Gippsland. 💚

Once fully restored, the site will form a 3.5km stretch of contiguous, protected koala habitat. 🐨
