We made these custom BMW R18 engine badges for a customer out of 6mm thick aluminium flatbar. The background was laser engraved away, revealing the lettering. The whole thing was powder coated and then the letters sanded. Finally, the entire items were polished.

A customer that builds race cars came to us for a custom plate to identify their last race car build. The unpolished version was the one provided to us from one of their previous builds as a guide, however they wanted this last build to have something slightly different. So we use 6mm thick aluminium plate, deep laser engraved, backfill with powder coat and then polished it to a high shine finish.
It fitted perfectly in the space in the console.

At Forever Milestones Custom Laser Engraving, we create long lasting plaques as a means of honouring those in our lives.
These were deep laser engraved into 3mm thick brass plate, backfilled with gloss black powder coat, given a unique finish and then clear coated to help protect them from the elements.
We use powder coat, rather than paint, as powder coat is significantly more durable than regular paint.

Forever Milestones Custom Laser Engraving is more than just engraving. I bring the term ‘Custom’ to a reality by taking on projects most businesses wouldn’t touch.
This medallion from 1938 is a hand made replication from a photo of a photo, the customer brought to me. The original medallion was lost and I was asked to reproduce it…. so I did. I redrew the design then I used the laser to engrave the background away, revealing raised lettering and adornments then cut the medallion out by hand and hand filed to shape. The brass shield was made separately using the same technique. Finally it was polished to create a vintage look. Meanwhile, the entire piece is just over 1” in height.
As an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer from the military, i obtained many skill sets giving me the ability and confidence to take on unique projects such as these. So if you have a project you need completed that requires a personal touch then contact us at Forever Milestones Custom Laser Engraving

Some of the latest custom made/produced pieces for Harley Davidson and a BMW R18. The BMW tank badges and frame badge items started out as 3mm thick aluminium then the background laser engraved away to create the 3D effect. Black powder was used to provide the colour.
The Harley Flush mount fuel cap was deep laser engraved and backfilled with gold paint, as the thin plastic and rubber elements would have deteriorated in the oven if using powder coat.
