Prior to this stage, the primary waterproofing membrane had already been completed throughout the gym and laundry area. This process is all about preparing the substrate correctly before screed application, ensuring the system performs as intended and maintains long term durability.

Every stage matters from surface preparation and detailing through to membrane consistency and coverage. Proper waterproofing isn’t just about compliance, it’s about protecting the build long after the finishes go down.

From bare substrate to a fully sealed wet area this one is all in the details 👌🏼

We first installed Envirosystems Technologies Enviro 700X to the substrate with 150mm upturns, creating the primary waterproofing layer before the tiler laid the screed with falls.

Now we’re back with Chris & Linken applying Enviro 200P to the screed and walls locking everything in with a seamless, flexible membrane system built to handle movement and moisture long term 💪🏼

The right products + the right process = waterproofing that lasts.

Another quality outcome delivered for Bellevarde Constructions in Paddington 👌

This one was a unique challenge an above ground cellar, which made it far more prone to condensation issues than a typical below ground setup.

To combat this, we designed a fit for purpose system to fully encapsulate the substrate:
• Three coats of cementitious waterproofing
• Vapour barrier applied to floors and all upturns

The goal was simple control moisture, prevent condensation, and protect the space long term.

Big effort from Jimmy and Riz on the install. Quality ex*****on as always.

Another practical, well thought out solution delivered by Mister Membrane.

Eoghan and Finlay have been up in Whale beach taking in the views and working on a huge project for .

Type of System: 40mm bonded insulation warm roof system

Material used: 807v pvc sheet membrane on the floor and Fatra 810v on the skirting

Works carried out so far: Roof has been primed and wrapped in innopro vapour barrier before laying 40mm insulation, then Fatra 807v was laid glued to the insulation, external profiles then applied to the hobs to give us our termination that will be wrapped over with a cementitous capping, with 3 sumps and 2 overflows and some detailing still remaining

Robin and kaelan have been working away on our project in Valcluse for .

We caught up with them as Robin was installing the skirtings and Kaelan was doing the termination profiles on top of the hobs.

Along side the exposed roof top, we also have some large planters which we will be waterproofing, with content about that instal coming soon.

This one is a throwback to before Christmas, Siaosi was over in Watsons Bay for , applying epoxy onto planter capping, before giving it two coats of Mapei Mapelastic smart from .

The rest of this green roof was done in Cosmofin LLV, with a post about that process still to come.

Simon and Gemma were on a project in randwick last week for , waterproofing some roof top box gutters using WOM 715.

The project at Dover Heights for our good friends and clients is coming along nicely! Robin was back there recently completing works to a the ground floor slab using Fatra 911, which is a below ground only membrane due to it not being UV stable.

Once the slab has been poured he will return to complete the cavity flashing with the extended membrane.

It may only be 3m2 but no job is too small and it’s essential that it is done right.

Chris was recently back in Valcluse for , waterproofing a exposed roof top using Mapei Mapleastic Smart with an Epoxy Primer to improve adhesion. Mapei Mapleastic Smart was the product of choice on this installation as it is a versatile product but in particular due to its UV resistant capabilities.
