A week has already flown by since our Captain & Deputy Captain attended as panellists for the Industry Panel Discussion ‘Inside the Industry’.

The event was a great night for students and the future leaders of our great city to gain valuable insights and hear from some of North Queensland’s most respected professionals who shared their experiences, lessons and perspectives on leadership, career development and professional success.

Townsville is truly a great place to live, work and play. We are proud to represent our great city and will continue to drive the success and opportunity of the next generation.

Recently Hans stepped out of the office and joined Master Builders North Queensland at the Rowes Bay Golf Club ⛳.

It was great to catch up with Carla Keith. Townsville has a strong building & construction industry that help deliver vital projects to our region and its great to have the support of Master Builders here in our great city.

We look forward to keeping in touch and seeing the great work from Carla and her team.

Friday last week we attended the Thank You Evening at the Townsville Hospital and Health Service which unveiled the incredible impact from the donors and supporters in our great region.

with the support of businesses and individuals in North Queensland have helped make the Next Generation Sequencing Machine possible. This life-changing technology has transformed cancer testing wait times from 6–8 weeks down to just 24 hours, ensuring patients across North Queensland can access faster diagnoses and treatment closer to home.

A special recognition was made to .aus for their extraordinary donation towards the Neonatal Travel Cot, a vital piece of equipment that safely transports between 150 and 190 babies each year to for critical treatment and care.

Last month was Small Business Month and a busy one at that. One of the main highlights of the month was the hosting a Midday Lunch event with the Hon. Steve Minnikin MP on Friday 22 May 2026 at Townsville Brewing Co.

The event heard from our local business panel featuring Tanya from Michel’s Catering & Events and Allan from C-Bar, sharing their business journeys, lessons and practical insights with our community.
