📣 IMPORTANT BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT – INVOICING & PAYMENTS...
We would like to take a moment to advise our customers, body corporate managers, strata management companies & third parties of a change to our payment policy.
As a small, locally operated snake catching business providing a 24/7 emergency service, we have made the decision that, effective immediately, we will no longer be accepting bookings that require invoicing through body corporates, strata management companies or third-party payment systems.
We understand that many organisations have their own procedures for processing invoices & payments. Unfortunately, these often involve registering with multiple platforms, creating profiles, completing paperwork & uploading various documents just to receive payment for a job that has already been completed.
With only two staff members running our business around the clock, we simply do not have the office administration support or spare time to manage these additional requirements.
Snake catching is much more than just turning up to a job. It involves being available day & night, travelling long distances, missing family time, working weekends & holidays, often putting our own plans on hold to help keep our community safe.
Like everyone, we need time to rest, spend time with our families & enjoy the simple things in life. We already sacrifice a great deal to provide this service & we need to ensure the time we spend running our business is focused on what we do best — catching & relocating snakes safely.
Our goal has always been to keep our fees fair & affordable for our customers, but we also need to make sure our business remains sustainable & that we can continue paying our own bills & supporting our families.
This decision has not been made lightly & we hope our customers & local community can understand where we are coming from.
We are a small business, not a large company with an administration team behind us & we need to put practical systems in place that allow us to continue operating.
We sincerely appreciate every customer who supports our small business, pays promptly & understands 🙏
