Last week, we welcomed our young guests and introduced them to EY’s office life.
Through a series of fun and interactive activities, we created, learned, and shared memorable moments together.

Recently, we held a seminar on amendments to the Customs Code that are expected to be approved by the Parliament. We invited customs and tax professionals working with customs matters to discuss the implications of the upcoming reforms.
The changes were presented by Parviz Anvarli, EY Tax & Law Assistant Manager, and Fidan Ahmadova, Senior Lawyer. They highlighted a number of important updates, including customs audits to be conducted in desk and on-site formats; requirements for retaining customs records and documentation, accounting for goods imported under various regimes; as well as new approaches to customs clearance, their impact on business practices and the roles and responsibilities of individuals and entities involved in supporting customs clearance processes.

We thank all participants for their active involvement and valuable contributions to this insightful discussion.

Dəyişikliklərin biznesə və əməliyyatlara mümkün təsirlərini müzakirə etmək məqsədilə tədbirimizə gömrük və vergi məsələləri üzrə ixtisaslaşmış peşəkarları dəvət etdik.
EY şirkətinin Vergi və Hüquq üzrə kiçik meneceri Pərviz Ənvərlinin və baş hüquq məsləhətçisi Fidan Əhmədovanın təqdimatında keçirilən müzakirələr zamanı səyyar və kameral gömrük yoxlamaları, gömrük qeydləri və sənədlərinin saxlanması tələbləri, müxtəlif gömrük rejimləri çərçivəsində idxal olunan malların uçotu, eləcə də gömrük rəsmiləşdirilməsinə yeni yanaşmalar və onların biznes əməliyyatlarına təsiri kimi mövzular işıqlandırıldı.
Bundan əlavə, gömrük rəsmiləşdirilməsi prosesində iştirak edən şəxslər və müəssisələrin rol və məsuliyyətləri barədə fikir mübadiləsi aparıldı.

In line with this, we held IFRS 18 session for finance and accounting professionals. The session focused on implementation of new IFRS 18 and its impact on financial reporting, including aggregation and disaggregation principles, income and expense classification, new required subtotals, Management Performance Measures (MPMs), as well as implications for financial planning and analysis.

This session brought together professionals from various industries to discuss interbank rates and the arm’s length principle in transfer pricing, the deductibility of interest expenses, and common issues related to social security contribution allocations.
