I’ve been processing everything that came out of Selina Gray’s Trailblazer Live this year.
She talked about being in Thin Air, and for me that means being surrounded by women who are building businesses, creating more wealth than they once imagined possible, and designing lives on their own terms, no matter the barriers. It means showing the next generation there is no one box they have to fit into, and that you can create a completely different legacy for yourself.
My girl Sophie already talks about wanting to help me with my business, and I think about how different our conversations are from the ones I grew up hearing. Im doing all of this for her. She gets to see me choose to build, lead, be creative, earn on my terms and decide what success looks like.
Then there is the power of the room itself. Hearing the powerful stories on that stage like Kimberly Mcconnell-Newsted who was at my table my first Trailblazer event and Jenna’s story Jenna Shaw who brought tears because I was that kid. And my table, curated by Selina herself. Brilliant and not only understood my business ideas but shared other ideas, and helped me see opportunities I may never have considered or believed could even be your own. It also gave me a huge realization about why I created my Stellar Social Coffee & Connection group. I created what I was missing myself, and I feel like I’m called to make this more intentional.
I left the event with a full heart for the women I already knew, the new women I met, the speakers who shared so openly and the conversations I know will continue long after the event. 🔥
Beyond grateful Selina Gray we met each other through our girls hockey. You have literally changed the direction of my journey, personally and professionally.
If you were at Trailblazer and we missed each other, please reach out! I would genuinely love to connect! ✨
