Position: General Manager, Alberta.

Metalcare Group is an established provider of NDT and Materials testing of critical energy, industrial, and heavy construction industries over 15 years. We have an opening for General Manager. This position is responsible for leading operations and business growth of the company with excellent career growth opportunity within the company. With base pay, generous compensation would be offered based on company's operational efficiency and business growth.

As this is the key role in the company, the successful candidate shall meet the following technical requirements:

CGSB Level 2/3 certification in at least one NDT method and certification in PAUT or TOFD is preferrable.
CSA W178.2 Level 2 (preference given to Level 3 with Supervision experience)
Minimum of 5 years NDT/Visual Experience; minimum of 2 years supervisory/leadership experience
The successful candidate will possess the following Abilities and Attributes:

Customer Focus - building solid relationships with clients and growing existing operations. This is critical attribute to this position.
Personnel Development - solid coaching and mentoring skills in technical guidance, direction, mentoring, training, and skills development.
Collaboration - will work closely with a team.
Self Starter - the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure with minimal oversight and excellent problem solving skills
Project management – the ability to propose, plan, implement, manage and evaluate projects, combined with the art of leading/managing people.
Technical Writing - expertise in the review/approval of technical reports and records.
Compliance - assist the team in investigating and documenting near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances.
Computer Skills - strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
Field Presence – occasional field support and availability to work extended hours as require
