Beauty Links is an entry-level employment program that connects employers with motivated individuals pursuing careers in the beauty industry.
Students receive training in core workplace and industry skills, including reception, customer service, retail sales, makeup application, and professional communication.
They also gain practical experience in their chosen area of focus:
• Shampoo & Blow-Dry Services for future hairstylists
• Manicure & Pedicure Services for future estheticians
Program Structure
• 4 weeks of volunteer placement
• 9 weeks of paid work placement
• Wage subsidy available to assist with onboarding and training costs
Throughout the program, students work part-time while continuing their education through weekly classroom instruction, further developing their technical knowledge and workplace skills.
Over a 13-week period, employers have the opportunity to mentor, evaluate, and develop emerging talent while providing valuable industry experience and exposure to a professional workplace.
